Are you ready for my favorite picks from the FabFitFun Winter 2019 Box?

Check them out below. Want to try them yourself? Click here and enter code RAINBOW to save $10 off your first box.

(The first three options were in the same choice category for the FabFitFun Winter 2019 Box, but were all so appealing to me, I couldn’t decide.  Luckily, FFF allows you to add additional options in each choice category for a nominal additional price.)

Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream

Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream

Scoop:  It’s smooth, luxurious, and not too goat-y.  The small tub of cream goes on smoothly, without feeling greasy, sticky or leaving any residue.

Value: $65

Verdict:  I’m enjoying it, but not sure I would pay $65 for another one.

Unhide Lil’Marshmallow

Unhide Lil’Marshmallow

Scoop:  Unbelievably soft and fluffy, this microfiber blanket lives up to his name.  It is a great texture, but there was no choice in color, so it is a lighter shade than I would typically pick for something that will get as much “love” as I’m sure this will.

Value: $65

Verdict:  Great product – we will see how the color holds up in our house

R + CO Television Perfect Hair Shampoo + Conditioner

R + CO Television Perfect Hair Shampoo + Conditioner

Scoop:  This is brand I have been encountering a bit more recently.  I happened to be at the end of my supply of Davines shampoo and conditioner, so I was happy to pop this into the mix.  So far, I’ve found both products to be a solid addition to my morning routine.

Value: $64

Verdict:  I’m still a Davines fan, but it’s nice to have another option to grab

PJ Salvage Faux Trim Cable Slippers

PJ Salvage Faux Trim Cable Slippers

Scoop:  These sweater slippers are not just trimmed, but fully lined, in faux fur.  They are soft and comfy. I had two choices for size- S/M and M/L (shoe sizes 9-11).  I picked the larger because I typically wear an 8 1/2. The M/L seem to be slightest bit big, but that’s not a terrible gripe.

Value: $45

Verdict:  Soft, fuzzy and cute – what more can you ask for in slippers?

Rodial Soft Focus Glow Drops

Rodial Soft Focus Glow Drops

Scoop:  Not a product I usually use- or even think about using, this combo primer-highlighter has been fun to try.  You use only 2 drops and can wear it alone, or under makeup. It is shimmery pink, with a delicate scent. At full price, it’s a little spendy, but you use very little each time, so it will last.

Value: $55

Verdict:  A fun, luxurious product – glad I tried it.

Hooray Sidekick Crossbody Bag

Hooray Sidekick Crossbody Bag

Scoop:  A small, yet versatile bag.  It’s a sportier version of those “wallet-on-a-string” things that were popular several years ago, but it hangs horizontally, not vertically.  The strap is super adjustable so it can be worn alone, or tucked into another bag like a wallet.

Value: $17.99

Verdict:  Great for travel, or other times when you need a few things and want to be hands-free.

Frank Body Original Coffee Scrub

Frank Body Original Coffee Scrub

Scoop:  There is no doubt that this is made with real coffee.  You open up the bag and the aroma is real. While it looks like pure coffee grounds, it is clear when you rub a palmful on your skin that there is more going on.  You feel the gentle exfoliation, as well as catch a whiff of citrus.

Value: $16.95

Verdict:  It’s a great gentle exfoliator, but it leaves brown specks of ground coffee all over my shower.

Cuccio Somatolgoy Calm + Clean Epsom Salt Hand and Body Wash

Cuccio Somatolgoy Calm + Clean Epsom Salt Hand and Body Wash

Scoop:  You can use this for hand or body.  Because I already have several other soap (and scrub!) products in my shower, I have chosen to use this as a hand soap.  Also, for the price, I’d rather use it in smaller doses for weeks, rather than have it disappear over the course of a few showers.

Value: $39.95

Verdict:  Lovely, light scent, but not sure if it is worth the regular price to purchase again.

Drybar Prep Rally Prime & Prep Detangler

Drybar Prep Rally Prime & Prep Detangler

Scoop:  As a person with generally straight hair, I have never set foot in DryBar.  When I get my hair cut, my stylist will usually give me a blow out, but that’s about it.  I do love a good leave-in conditioner, though, as my hair is thick. This (pink!) spray bottle holds a light-weight product that did love a heavy residue.

Value: $23

Verdict:  Excellent addition to my bathroom cabinet.

Makeup Eraser in Original Pink

Makeup Eraser in Original Pink

Scoop:  Soft, washable, and Barbie-pink – a perfect makeup remover.  This ample-sized microfiber cloth has two sides – a lower pile side for makeup removal, and a longer pile for exfoliation.

Value: $20

Verdict:  A great alternative to wasteful makeup remover pads or wipes – or even cotton pads.
